As part of a system response to significant challenges faced by the Health and Social Care sector, we have offered a fully funded 24/7 digital care telemedicine service to our older adults care homes. 'Immedicare' has been commissioned to compliment the current support offered by the system and offers an alternative method for care home staff in accessing timely advice and intervention for residents At present over 100 nursing and residential homes within North Yorkshire and York are utilising the service.
The service is a partnership between Airedale NHS Foundation Trust, and technology partner Involve.
