Children's continuing care
For children and young people with the most complex needs, they may be able access to Continuing Care support and personal health budgets.
A continuing care support package may be required when a child or young person has needs arising from disability, accident or illness that cannot be met by existing universal or specialist services alone. In these instances consideration should be given as to whether an assessment of eligibility for continuing care is required.
Your specialist health professional or social worker will advise if they believe that you might be eligible for continuing care or continuing healthcare.
