Services de santé locaux sont très bons!
Local health commissioners played host to health professionals and academics from France during their recent educational visit to York.
The official visit to NHS Vale of York Clinical Commissioning Group (CCG) gave the party of scholars the opportunity to learn about the successes of local healthcare schemes and to study the NHS first hand.
Reflecting on the visit, Professor and Chair of Health Economics and Management, Gérard de Pouvourville, said: “England has a worldwide reputation for delivering excellent healthcare.
“Our group could have easily visited commissioners in London or any other big city across the UK but we wanted to learn first-hand about the amazing work that takes place in the Vale of York.
“Our Institute for Health Economics and Management regards NHS Vale of York CCG as a pioneer in its work to deliver innovative healthcare through its conversations with the community and advances in the use of health economics to benefit all.”
The CCG’s Chief Clinical Officer, Dr Mark Hayes, said: “The CCG is delighted that the Institute for Health Economics and Management chose to visit the Vale of York – a testament to the ground-breaking work that is taking place here.
“The CCG is leading on cutting-edge healthcare projects that will deliver the best in health and wellbeing for everyone in the community and it is very proud to be viewed as a founding force in state-of-the-art commissioning.”
