Come Dance with Me Flyer

We are excited to invite all care providers and partner organisations from across North Yorkshire and York to join us at Care Connected- Our provider forum designed to help you access the updates relevant to you and your teams from across health and social care in one single place.

Care Connected will takes place every two weeks on a Wednesday from 10.30-11.30 through Microsoft Teams. Make sure you set a recurring reminder in your calendars to join us!

As a local system we are committed to working together to provide joined up multi-agency support to our care sector and following extensive engagement with providers on what you want to see from a provider forum, North Yorkshire Council, City of York Council and NHS Humber and North Yorkshire ICB have come together to collaboratively launch our new forum. This builds on the success of the current Care Connected Forum, Partners in Care Virtual Forum and the North Yorkshire Provider Forum which from feedback we know have been an invaluable lifeline to providers during the pandemic period in accessing and understanding guidance changes, receiving local and national updates, and to discuss challenges with both fellow providers and health and social care partners. The new group is designed to bring together all of this under one single forum to support our care providers.

Join Care Connected to Receive:

  • Guidance changes, news and updates from your local authority and integrated care board
  • Quality improvement programmes and initiatives
  • Public health Update
  • Market updates
  • Training and development opportunities
  • Health and wellbeing support for you and your workforce
  • Latest opportunities to enhance your digital connectivity and take part in research studies.
  • Your chance to ask questions and raise burning issues with fellow providers and local services.
  • Sharing of best practice and good news across our sector
  • Regular contributions from The Independent Group, Skills for Care, Infection Prevention and Control and other services working to support providers across North Yorkshire and York.

As we know the sector continues to be under unprecedented pressure, we will share out a reminder ahead of each meeting which will include an agenda and joining details for Care Connected so you can make an informed decision on which sessions you feel and relevant to you and want to join. For those that aren't able to attend, you will be access all the resources and slides from each meeting through this webpage. Our new integrated approach allows us to us Care Connected flexibly to respond to priorities for the sector as they arise, which includes having more frequent or dedicated sessions including area or provider specific sessions and supplemented by in person meetings where needed.

The new group is shaped around our providers, and we want to continue to hear your voice on what you want to see at Care Connected including agenda items and questions you would like answering.
