Local NHS looking to recruit member of the public
NHS Vale of York Clinical Commissioning Group (CCG) is currently looking to recruit a member of the public to be a representative on its Patient and Public Engagement (PPE) Steering Group.
The CCG is the statutory body responsible for commissioning healthcare services for patients across the Vale of York.
The CCG is fully committed to engaging and involving local people and the PPE steering group members play an important role in helping to ensure that public opinion is embedded in important decisions that the CCG make about commissioning these services.
The group is made up of members representing patients, the voluntary and community sector, public sector organisations and the CCG. They meet approximately six times per year and are also involved in the CCG’s three annual public events each year.
The CCG is looking for someone from the Vale of York area who will bring enthusiasm and a willingness to learn to the role and who is committed to promoting healthcare equality and diversity.
