Helping to achieve the best in health and wellbeing for everyone, NHS Vale of York Clinical Commissioning Group (CCG) is now working on what are expected to be solid, practical plans for the next five years.
Using local evidence and feedback from discussions with patients, the public, partners and healthcare providers, the CCG will develop its priorities around how it will continue to transform and continuously improve healthcare services.
Rachel Potts, Chief Operating Officer for the CCG said: “Involving the public and patients in the decision making process features strongly in our planning and commissioning local healthcare services.
“It is important for the CCG to understand community need and identify this; which is why we are taking the lead to develop conversations that are owned locally.
“The CCG has arranged significant and meaningful public involvement events which will pave the way for open and honest discussions, helping to plan for the future.
“The CCG understands that not everyone can attend its events; that is why we will be making a draft version of the strategic plan available on the website along with the opportunity to feedback. This means that members of the public and patients have as many opportunities as possible to give their views.”
The events take place in the first week of March.
