Design a logo competition launched for local school children
We're holding a competition for all year five and six school pupils across the Vale of York to design a logo for our organisation.
The competition, which was launched during September, asks pupils to draw a logo that they think represents the following statement: 'This is what good health and happiness looks like'.
Dr Shaun O'Connell, GP and member of the CCGs Governing Body, said: "Our need for a logo is a great opportunity to engage with children in the area and to get them thinking about their health.
"As our vision is to achieve the best health and wellbeing for everyone in our community, we place great importance on prevention and encouraging people of all ages to take an interest in looking after their health."
Dr O'Connell continued: "I'd like wish all the entries the very best of luck and thank all the children that take part for their time and effort.
In November, each entry was scanned and uploaded to this website where members of the public were able to vote for their favourite design. The deadline for votes has now passed and the 20 designs with the most votes will now be judged by members of the CCG to determine a winner and two runners up.
The winning design will be featured on this website and on other materials related to NHS Vale of York CCG.
The winning design will be announced shortly.
