Who we work with
We work closely with our partners and providers and regularly involve the community and voluntary sector that provides an important voice for patients. Below is a summary of the organisations we work with.
Health and Wellbeing Boards
Health and Wellbeing Boards bring key partners from across health and care services together work to transform the way health and social care services are commissioned and provided so they can improve the health and wellbeing of local people.
Healthwatch
The role of Healthwatch is to find out what people want, monitor local services and use their powers to hold health and social care providers to account. We have close links with Healthwatch teams in the East Riding of Yorkshire, North Yorkshire and York.
Local authorities
We work hard to build on the strong public sector partnerships in the Vale of York. To reflect our shared geography and communities, we work with three local authorities in the East Riding of Yorkshire, North Yorkshire and York.
Public Health
We work in partnership with local public health teams. They are responsible for the planning and integration of health and social care services to reduce the inequalities in health across the region.
